Issues with the Government Gateway

Despite the concerns of many, including our own, about the Government Gateway’s ability to manage the volume of RTI reporting, it appears to have performed well in the first month of RTI.

Once the Gateway became available to users later on the morning of Saturday 6 April than anticipated, there were no reported problems of accredited users being unable to access and submit RTI reporting.

There have been some instances reported by users that their submission have not been receipted but general experience suggests, this is down to the RTI software application used in such cases (or possibly browser related issues), not the Gateway itself.
